Environment Artist (Full-time) — N-Space, Orlando, FL — 2/07 to 8/09
- Served as an Environment Artist, modeling vibrant and efficient low-poly levels for single-player and multi-player Nintendo DS games. Used 3DS Max and Photoshop to create textures, generate props, place lighting, and model environments. Brought dramatic lighting to levels through a harmonious combination of color, textures, and lighting. Heavily involved in the entire design process, from sketching and collecting reference and concept art to delivering the final completed environment. Composed outstanding art from original materials under little direction, and also replicated and enhanced concept artists’ style into beautifully textured objects and environments. Recognized among my coworkers as the first to develop convincingly vast panoramic landscapes for the Nintendo DS. Collaborated with artists, scripters, and programmers in a team environment to complete projects under tight deadlines. Credited as Environment Artist in four shipped titles (James Bond 007: Blood Stone DS, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare DS, Call of Duty: World at War DS, and Hue Pixel Painter). Involved throughout the entire production cycle of each game.
